Here’s how I have set my Tivimate Settings.
I would set them this way if I were you if you’d like to get the most of the software app.
Open your Tivimate App
Settings > General
- Turn on last channel on app start = on
- Confirm exit by second press Back = on
(The rest is all off)
Settings > Playlists
If you go into the playlist (exemple: IPTVTek)
- Update internal hours = 24 (every 24 hours the channel list will be updated)
- Update on app start = on (every time you start Tivimate, the channel list will be updated)
(The rest I haven’t touched)
Settings > Playlists
Playlists sorting = By name
Settings > EPG >EPG Sources
If you are using my Free channel list, for the EPG (Electronic Program Guide) to work correctly, make sure this is listed:
mediatek.ca xmltv <– something like that
http://epg:epg@mediatek.ca:81/xmltv.xml
-or-
http://username:password@mediatek.ca:81/xmltv.xml
(One or the other, doesn’t make a diffrence)
Also if you have “edge.bz” with poutine.tv
http://edge.bz:8080/xmltv.php?username=<username>&password=<password>
Here’s the trick, ill give you an example and add something at the end, this will help to download 7 days of EPG from them. Make sure you don’t enter more than 7.
http://edge.bz:8080/xmltv.php?username=john&password=123456&next_days=7

(You won’t be able to Record for now) It’s something I could check into by having you record to my computer here at home, I will have to test it first and I would need everyone to pitch in $$ to purchase a Hard Drive. This might be an interesting option.
Settings > Other > VOD
Autoplay next episode = OFF (If ON, when watching a TV show, it will play the next episode automatically.
